Aina named Nottingham Forest’s Player for September

Nigerian defender Ola Aina has been voted Nottingham Forest’s best player for the month of September.

Aina was voted for by 40% of the club’s supporters.

His international teammate, Taiwo Awoniyi, picked up the award in August.

The 26-year-old has a made huge impact at the City Ground following his arrival from Serie A club Torino in the summer.

Aina is capable of playing on both the right and left side of defence.

He has made five league appearances for the Tricky Trees this season.
