Obasanjo, Wike, Peter Obi, others meet in London

Former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo, Labour Party (LP) flag bearer for the 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi and the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike are meeting in London.

According to The Nation, other Governors at the meeting include Samuel Ortom of Benue; Seyi Makinde of Oyo and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State.

Details of the meeting can not be ascertained as at press time, but observers believe it may not be unconnected with the 2023 general elections.

The Telegraph recalls that Wike has been in a war of words with the camp of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar following the outcome of the party’s primary election.
