Season 6 of BBNaija 2021 Shine Ya Eye edition kicks off

Fans and followers of the popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija are in for some thrills as season six of the show kicks off today, Saturday, 24th July.

The host of the show, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced the theme of the 2021 edition of the show is ''Shine Ya Eye'' will run for 72 days from 24th July till October 3, 2021.

Organizers announced that the 2021 edition will premiere with two opening ceremonies on July 24 and July 25, 2021. Already, two housemates have been ushered into the revamped BBNaija house after the first part of the double launch show kicked off. The 10-week long reality TV show will involve a tight competition for the grand prize of N90million worth of prizes and this year’s edition will see fans voting for their favourite housemates via the show’s website and app.

Boma made history as the first Housemate to step into the revamped BBNaija House.

Saga was ushered in as the second Housemate while Yousef followed as the third Housemate. 

Up next is Pere. He is an actor and also into real estate. Pere is from Warri.

The fifth housemate to be introduced is White Money.

Then, the next to enter the house is Niyi.

Up next is another male housemate, 27-year-old Yerins who is a medical doctor and an artiste.

The eight housemate is 29-year-old Jay Paul.

24-year-old Emmanuel is the latest housemate to be introduced into the house.

The 10th housemate introduced by the host is Sammie who is currently a student of the Ahmadu Bello University.

The eleventh housemate introduced into the show is Cross.

According to the host of the show, Ebuka, only male housemates will be introduced on Saturday while the unveiling of the female housemates will be done on Sunday, 25th July.

Before the Housemates were ushered in, Ebuka took viewers on a journey of the revamped House, which had an expansive Head of the House room, an executive lounge, games room as well as other areas.
